Waiting Lists
Every program we operate has a waiting list. The time you may be on the waiting list varies from program to program. Waiting lists are required because there are more persons who need rental assistance than available resources.
PUBLIC HOUSING
On this program, you are waiting for an available apartment. It is hard for us to guess when apartments will be available because we never know for sure when families will no longer need our assistance.
Based on our history we are able to provide an estimate that your wait time for this program will be from the day you apply:

HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHERS (Section 8)
On this program, you are waiting for an available voucher. It is hard for us to guess when vouchers will be available because we never know for sure when families will no longer need our assistance. You are waiting for persons to leave the program.
Based on our history we are able to estimate the wait time for a voucher from time of applying is approximately two (2) years.
Moderate Rehabilitation Program
On this program, you are waiting for a private owner to have an available unit. Contact the Owners to determine wait time.
HOPWA
On this program, you are waiting for an available voucher. It is hard for us to guess when vouchers will be available because we never know for sure when families will no longer need our assistance. You are waiting for persons to leave the program.
Shelter Plus Care
On this program, you are waiting for an available voucher. Currently we have vouchers available but applicants must be referred by Weber Human Services.
